Architect
Sophia approaches architecture with a precise, hands-on sensibility shaped by an early fascination with how space—through light, material, and arrangement—can shift perception. At Hacker, she brings this mindset to her role as a Project Architect, with a focus on civic work and a growing interest in mass timber and biophilic design.
Grounded in a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, Sophia is drawn to the full lifecycle of a project, from research and material sourcing to fabrication and assembly. Her eye for detail and curiosity about how things come together reflect a thoughtful, process-driven approach that values both performance and experience.
Outside the studio, Sophia’s curiosity continues through cooking, organizing, and exploring new perspectives—habits that echo her belief that design is an evolving practice, shaped by observation, iteration, and a continuous desire to do things better.
