Client Notes
Transform a generic office space into a culture-specific, lively workplace that includes environments for play and camaraderie. Provide plenty of collaborative spaces and flexible common work areas to accommodate a variety of working styles and conditions.

Designer Notes
This rapidly growing company wanted to maintain a sense of community even as they expanded, so we designed the workplace with communal spaces as the focal point, located where people naturally pass through. A prominent mural by a local artist, telling the story of the company's history, anchors an open lounge area, which then opens to a communal kitchen. Workspaces are provided with flexible furniture, and employees have their choice of workspace among a variety of conference rooms, quiet rooms, and collaborative spaces with whiteboard walls and digital screens. The overall design is colorful and playful to reflect the startup culture of this growing company.
