Kirsten brings an expansive, interdisciplinary perspective to architecture, shaped by a background in fine art, interactive installations, and graphic design. She approaches design as an opportunity to foster connection—between people, place, and the natural world—with a focus on creating spaces that feel restorative, human-scaled, and grounded in biophilia.
At Hacker, Kirsten supports project teams through coordination and technical development, with particular expertise in Revit and a commitment to collaborative workflows. She is drawn to adaptive reuse and projects that prioritize user experience, where existing structures can be reimagined to better serve contemporary communities.
Inspired by nature, art, and the act of making, Kirsten brings a thoughtful and inquisitive energy to her work. Outside the studio, she stays closely connected to the landscape as an organizer with Northwest Trail Runners.
