Client Notes
Create a comfortable and approachable bar that embodies the one-of-a-kind experience Bend Brewing Company is known for. The bar needed to ingrate well with the Market Hall, which it is located in, but still stand alone as it’s own space with it’s own identity.
Designer Notes
Located in the Grove Market Hall (another Hacker Project) Waypoint Bar by Bend Brewing Co. represents the PNW brewery’s brand flawlessly with connection, community, and craft at the forefront. Booths, banquettes, and loose seating welcome patrons to sit below custom fabricated pendant lights designed to represent lines and points on a map. A limited material palette of blacks, whites, natural wood, and cognac upholstery rounds out a casual yet refined dining experience. Patrons have a choice of visiting the draft booth cleverly located just outside the bar to grab a drink and sit in the open market seating, or continue to the full bar, which boasts a larger menu.
