Client Notes
Create a place for West African youth to advance their opportunities through education, sport, and wellness. Design facilities that are responsive to the local context and that demonstrate environmental sensitivity.
Designer Notes
The complex includes a residential soccer academy with dorms, school, and athletic fields, and a fitness and wellness center open to the public. The academy provides supportive environments for kids to train, live, and study while being part of a connected community; and the wellness center connects the complex to the public with a gym, spa, treatment rooms, and event space. This project was designed pro bono as part of Hacker's 1+ commitment.
